Lucknow, Aug. 9 -- A youth was stabbed in the abdomen during a clash outside a shop opposite Hazratganj police station late Friday, police said on Saturday. Locals caught two suspects, identified as Gufran and Aman, and handed them over to the police, while several others fled the spot. Hazratganj inspector Vikram Singh on Saturday said an FIR was registered and two accused were in custody. Police were scanning CCTV footage and conducting raids to arrest the remaining suspects. According to police, the victim, Sajid Ali, was at a car accessories shop in Lalbagh area with his associate Abdul Sajid. While standing near a vehicle, Sajid allegedly noticed a group of men quarrelling and intervened. Police said the group turned on him, surrounded him, and stabbed him in the abdomen with a knife. Hearing his cries, Abdul Sajid and Parvez, the shop owner, rushed to help but were also allegedly attacked. Parvez sustained a knife injury in the assault. Sajid Ali and Parvez were taken to Civil Hospital, where Sajid's condition was stated to be serious. During questioning, the detained duo allegedly identified six other suspects: Tony, Ahad, Saud alias Chavanni, Hamza, Mansoor and Sahil alias Ullu. Police said all of them were linked to a local shop, while some unidentified persons were also involved in the attack....
