Youth sexually assaults six-year-old boy in Kaushambi, case registered
PRAYAGRAJ, March 9 -- A youth allegedly sexually assaulted a six-year-old boy living in his neighbourhood in a village under the Karari police station area of Kaushambi district recently. Police registered a case against the accused and his mother on Sunday and have launched a search for them.
According to the child's mother, the incident occurred on March 5 when her six-year-old son was playing near their house. The accused allegedly lured the boy towards a nearby field by offering him toffees and other sweets and allegedly sexually assaulted the child.
When the boy started screaming, the accused allegedly beat him up mercilessly and fled the spot, leaving the child injured and bleeding.
Frightened by the incident, the boy returned home and narrated the ordeal to his family. The victim's mother alleged that when she went to confront the accused about the incident, his mother abused her and misbehaved with her.
The woman then filed a written complaint with the police, and a case has been registered. The police have also started the process of the child's medical examination and recording of statements, officials shared.
"A case has been registered based on the written complaint of the child's mother. Evidence is being collected. The accused will be arrested soon. Necessary instructions have been given to the investigating officer regarding this matter," said Siyakant Chaurasia, SHO of Karari police station.htc...
