VARANASI, May 17 -- A youth was taken into custody after a video went viral showing him allegedly holding another youth at gunpoint, abusing him, and forcing him to lick his own spit. According to the police, the youth seen in the video has been identified as Anshu Singh, a resident of a village under the Baburi police station area. Superintendent of police Akash Patel stated that the viral video is approximately nine to 10 months old. He added that a case had already been registered at the Jamalpur police station in Mirzapur district, and necessary legal action had previously been taken.
