Prayagraj, Aug. 10 -- A youth drowned while bathing in the Paiga canal near a village with four friends in Pratapgarh. As per report, Anuj Sharma (18), a resident of Kalyanpur Kala in the Sangipur police station area was bathing in the Paiga canal, accompanied by three friends. While bathing, he accidentally ventured into deep water and drowned. Family members and villagers rescued Anuj from the water and rushed him to Sangipur CHC, where doctors declared him dead.
