Lucknow, July 14 -- A 19-year-old Bachelor of BBA student allegedly died by suicide using a revolver at his residence in Lucknow's Mahanagar area on Monday night. Police are probing multiple angles in case, with a suspected monetary dispute with his mother emerging as one of the possible reasons that may have driven him to take the step. The deceased belonged to a family of doctors that runs a clinic in Daliganj. Mahanagar police received information at around 10.30 pm and rushed to his residence near Kala Kankar House in New Hyderabad, where they found him lying in a pool of blood inside his room. A revolver was recovered from the spot. SHO, Mahanagar, Akhilesh Mishra said the weapon did not belong to the family and investigators are verifying how and from whom the youth allegedly procured it. Police sources said preliminary inquiry suggests the youth had a disagreement with his mother over money before the incident and the case appears to be one of suicide.
