PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 29 -- Two persons, including a 23-year-old youth and a bank employee, were killed in separate road accidents in Lalganj and Udaipur areas of Pratapgarh on Monday morning. In the first incident, Rahul Yadav (23), a resident of Raipur Tiyain under Lalganj Kotwali police station, was killed after being hit by a pickup vehicle while crossing the Lucknow-Varanasi Highway. Rahul was killed around 6 am, he was declared dead at Lalganj Trauma Centre. In another accident, retired Air Force personnel Kamlesh Verma, 49, was killed when a Bolero hit his motorcycle at Rahatikar crossing. The driver fled towards Rehua Lalganj.
