Yogi's rally in Siddharthnagar today, Tiranga Yatra in Gkp tomorrow
GORAKHPUR, Aug. 9 -- The stage is set for chief minister Yogi Adityanath's two-day visit to Siddharthnagar and Gorakhpur scheduled for Sunday (August 9) and Monday (August 10) respectively.
The chief minister will first visit Siddharthnagar on Sunday, where he is scheduled to address a public rally at the Ratan Sen Degree College ground. He is also expected to inaugurate and launch development projects for the Bansi, Itwa and Dumariyaganj assembly constituencies.
Preparations for the chief minister's visit were completed, said Gaurav Kumar, additional district magistrate (ADM), Siddharthnagar.
After Siddharthnagar, Adityanath will visit Gorakhpur on Monday, where he will lead a Tiranga Yatra as part of programmes being organised ahead of Independence Day on August 15. The march will begin from Rani Lakshmi Bai Park, near the Municipal Corporation.
The yatra is expected to witness participation from public representatives, BJP workers, youth and local residents.
Officials said preparations were underway for the route, security arrangements, traffic management and crowd control.
"The Tiranga Yatra will begin from Rani Lakshmi Bai Park on August 10. Necessary arrangements are being made to ensure the smooth movement of participants as well as proper crowd and traffic management," said Ajay Jain, the Gorakhpur municipal commissioner....
