LUCKNOW, Aug. 6 -- A 38-year-old woman allegedly thrashed a 50-year-old man with her slipper after he allegedly made an objectionable remark at her in Lucknow's Lalbagh area on Wednesday. The video of the incident has also gone widely viral on social media in which the woman is seen chasing the man on the road as crowd gathers around them. The man is also seen folding his hands and apologising. Responding to the viral video, Lucknow Police said the Hazratganj police station had been informed and was looking into the matter. "Hazratganj police station has been informed for investigation and necessary action," the police said. Police officials are yet to confirm the identity of the man or whether any formal complaint or FIR has been registered.
