Bharatpur/Deeg, Aug. 3 -- A 59-year-old woman was shot dead by her neighbour on Sunday after she asked him to move away from her gate in Deeg district, police said on Sunday. The incident took place in village Mawai under Januthar police station. Jeet Singh,her husband said, "A neighbour, Kanha Singh, with his colleagues would come to our house and stand before our gate everyday. My wife demanded them to move away and complained to his family members. He threatened to kill us and shot my wife dead," Singh said. The family members took her to Deeg sub district hospital. She was later referred to Bharatpur district hospital where doctors declared her dead.
