Lucknow, July 15 -- A woman has lodged an FIR at Jankipuram police station alleging that she was subjected to repeated physical assault, torture, intimidation and threats to her life by her 17-year-old son over the past two years. Janakipuram police registered an FIR under Sections 115(2), 352, 351(2), 305(a), and 333 of the BNS against the teenager. SHO, Jankipuram, Vinod Tiwari, said that a probe was being done and the teenager was being counselled, while the woman's husband who works in a private job in Basti was informed. According to the FIR registered on July 10, the complainant alleged that her son had been assaulting her regularly for nearly two years. She claimed he repeatedly beat her with electric cables, confined her inside a room, gagged her to prevent her from raising an alarm, and allegedly burnt her with cigarettes on multiple occasions.htc...
