Woman dies during treatment at pvt hosp
LUCKNOW, June 7 -- A 30-year-old woman employed as a customer service executive at Amausi airport died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the Krishna Nagar area, prompting allegations of medical negligence by her family. A formal complaint has been lodged with police, and an investigation has been initiated.
The deceased, Kiran Yadav, was a resident of Badli Kheda in the Transport Nagar area under Sarojininagar. Her husband, Jang Bahadur, is an engineer with the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation. The couple has a daughter.
Family members said Kiran had complained of severe stomach pain while at work. Her condition reportedly deteriorated sharply later in the night and the family took her to a private hospital in Krishnanagar.
The husband has alleged that doctors at the hospital administered three injections to Kiran, following which her condition became critical. He further claimed that the hospital administration did not provide the family with clear information regarding her condition for a considerable period.
According to the complaint, a senior doctor was called in the following day. Shortly thereafter, Kiran was declared dead.
The incident triggered anger among family members, who accused the hospital and the treating doctors of negligence. Jang Bahadur subsequently filed a complaint at Krishnanagar Police Station, seeking action against those responsible.
Police officials said the complaint has been received and an investigation is underway....
