Meerut, June 28 -- A 40-year-old man died after allegedly being set on fire by his wife and her alleged lover while he was asleep. The victim succumbed to his burns on Friday night at Meerut District Hospital. Police have arrested both accused. The incident occurred on the night of June 20 in the Binoli police station area, about 38 kilometres from the Baghpat district headquarters.
