Lucknow, July 30 -- Naka Hindola police on Wednesday registered a case against a man after the father of a 37-year-old woman alleged that she died by suicide following months of dowry-related harassment. The FIR states that the woman, married in April 2025, was repeatedly subjected to physical and mental abuse despite dowry being given according to the family's means. On July 28, her family was called to her matrimonial home, where they found her dead with injury marks on her neck. Police registered a case under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (abetment of suicide). Investigation is underway. htc...
