We'll score hat-trick in 2027: UP BJP chief
LUCKNOW, June 27 -- Uttar Pradesh BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary on Friday expressed confidence that the party would return to power for a third consecutive term after the 2027 Assembly elections and said it would achieve the feat by dint of its newly constituted organisational team announced on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters after chairing the first meeting of the newly appointed state office-bearers, frontal organisation presidents and regional presidents at the BJP state headquarters here, Chaudhary said the new team had been formed after ensuring broad social and regional representation.
Claiming that the exercise was aimed at widening the party's outreach, he said the team was all-inclusive and reflected a conscious effort to maintain balance across regions, castes and gender.
"A total of 30 castes have been given representation in the new team," Chaudhary said. He added that while western Uttar Pradesh and the Braj region had received particular attention, central Uttar Pradesh got a relatively larger share because a large number of BJP workers belonged to that region.
