VARANASI, July 21 -- Varanasi Nagar Nigam on Monday launched the Quick-Resolution Smart Pilot Project, promising to resolve civic complaints such as garbage, overflowing sewers and non-functional streetlights within four hours. Announcing the initiative at the Smart City auditorium in Sigra, mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari said the pilot will initially cover 25 wards along the Ganga. Residents can register complaints by sending "Hi" to the WhatsApp chatbot number 8601872601 and selecting complaint option.
