Viral protest for denied leave: Lko crew controller transferred
LUCKNOW, April 27 -- The Northern Railway administration transferred Ratan Kumar, chief crew controller, over a month after a loco pilot allegedly denied medical leave and staged a protest inside the Charbagh railway lobby that went viral.
The incident occurred on March 3 when Rajesh Meena, loco pilot, allegedly removed his trousers inside the crew controller's office to demonstrate a medical condition he claimed was not being adequately addressed by the railway health system.

He then stripped in front of the official, an act that was recorded and widely circulated on social media. The episode triggered protests by the All India Loco Running Staff Association, which raised concerns over working conditions and medical support for running staff.
Railway authorities described Ratan Kumar's transfer as a routine administrative decision. However, an internal inquiry committee found the loco pilot guilty of violating service conduct rules.htc...
