Vegetable and flower exhibition extended
LUCKNOW, Feb. 9 -- The regional exhibition of fruits, vegetables, and flowers being held at Jan Bhawan has been extended until February 9 and will be open to the public daily from 8 am to 8 pm. The event is drawing large crowds with its showcase of organic produce, creative floral artworks, and innovative horticultural practices, informed a spokesperson on Sunday..
The exhibition showcases creative decorations crafted by children, women, and gardeners, along with state-of-the-art equipment and technological demonstrations presented by the Indian Army.
The main attractions include floral displays depicting themes such as Vande Mataram, Operation Sindoor, Lord Krishna's flute, Govardhan Mountain, and a replica of the Constitution of India.
Visitors are also being provided free health check-ups at a medical camp, along with expert technical guidance on topics including vegetable cultivation in polyhouses, honey production, and hydroponic farming.
The exhibition also showcases vegetables and seasonal flowers like petunias, marigolds, roses, and dahlias grown by various prisons, along with an array of bonsai plants....
