VARANASI, June 11 -- An MP-MLA court here on Wednesday set aside a lower court order dismissing a complaint against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his alleged remarks made during an event at Brown University in 2025, in which he allegedly described Lord Ram as a mythological and fictional figure. Special Judge (MP-MLA) Yajurveda Vikram Singh allowed a revision petition against the order of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (MP-MLA) court and directed that the complaint be heard afresh and decided in accordance with law, advocate Harishankar Pandey said. Pandey alleged that Gandhi's statement hurt his religious sentiments and those of millions of Hindus. According to the complaint, Gandhi referred to Lord Ram as a mythological figure while describing him as a symbol of compassion, forgiveness and righteousness during an event at Brown University in Boston....
