LUCKNOW, Nov. 7 -- Uttar Pradesh chief electoral officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa said all DEOs have been directed to seek cooperation of various government departments, social, business, and non-government organisations to maximise public participation in the SSR of assembly electoral rolls-2027 commencing from November 12. The aim is to ensure 100% registration of voters who are not enrolled in the electoral roll. The names of eligible citizens should be registered in the voter list by coordinating with public sector enterprises (PSEs), private sector industrial institutions, RWAs, district and tehsil bar associations, advocate organisations, civil defence organisations, labour organisations, business organisations and medical associations in districts, he said.
