UPSIDA CEO inspects Prayagraj industrial hubs
LUCKNOW, Oct. 3 -- Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) CEO Balkar Singh on Friday inspected key industrial zones in Prayagraj, including the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC), Saraswati Hi-Tech City and Naini Industrial Area, and directed officials to ensure the timely and quality completion of all development works.
He began the visit at the Varun Beverages and Bisleri units, where he launched a cleanliness drive on Gandhi Jayanti and stressed the need for cleanliness and a better working environment in industrial areas.
At Saraswati Hi-Tech City, Singh directed officials to prepare a comprehensive beautification plan.
At the IMC Prayagraj, discussions focused on the commercial use of existing BPCL structures and vacant plots. Officials also explored developing the plots under the public-private partnership (PPP) model for luxury hotels and marriage lawns to boost commercial activity in the industrial cluster.
During inspection of the Naini Industrial Area, he directed officials to take action as per rules against plots lying vacant for a long period and ordered the regional manager and senior manager offices to be shifted to the newly renovated building in Naini.
Additional CEO Anita Yadav, principal GM Rajeev Tyagi, GM PK Kaushik, regional manager Santosh Kumar, area in-charge Manish Lakha and representatives of the executing agency were also present....
