UP STF uncovers how 'Devil' hacked SSC GD exam server
LUCKNOW, Sept. 25 -- The arrest of a wanted hacker in Delhi helped the UP Special Task Force (STF) uncover four technology-driven methods allegedly used to manipulate online examinations. These include bypassing exam networks through proxy servers and remotely connecting candidates' computers with solvers, said officials.
ADG, law and order and STF, Amitabh Yash shared the details on Thursday, two days after the force arrested Arun Kumar Yadav alias 'Devil' from Delhi on September 22 in connection with the alleged manipulation of the Staff Selection Commission's (SSC) GD Constable online examination.
The investigation revealed that the accused allegedly used four methods to facilitate cheating in online examinations, said the officer.

The STF said the investigation also brought to light Yadav's alleged role in hacking five other examination centres across four states during the SSC GD Constable examination.
The accused was arrested from the Shahbad-Daulatpur area under Begumpur police station in Delhi on Tuesday.
The STF recovered an open TFT screen, laptop, handheld metal detector, eight HDMI video-capture devices, various adapters and dongles, a digital broadband device and other electronic equipment from him. HTC...
