UP showcases investment opportunities to plywood industry
LUCKNOW, June 23 -- Nearly 100 representatives from the plywood industry and prospective investors from West Bengal, Haryana, Delhi, Karnataka and Punjab participated in a high-level investment interaction held at the Invest UP office in the state capital on Monday.
The event showcased Uttar Pradesh's industrial strengths, investment-ready infrastructure, ease of doing business, streamlined approval mechanisms, and emerging opportunities in plywood manufacturing and related sectors.
Senior government officials interacted directly with industry stakeholders, reiterating the state government's commitment to fostering business growth through proactive governance and investor-friendly policies.
Addressing the gathering, infrastructure and industrial development commissioner (IIDC) Deepak Kumar emphasised the state's commitment to creating a competitive and future-ready ecosystem for the plywood and agro-forestry industry.
CEO Invest UP Vijay Kiran Anand highlighted that the state has emerged as one of India's most competitive investment destinations.
Representatives from the plywood federation suggested that the state may also explore a "One Industrial Park" model to create dedicated manufacturing ecosystems for focused industrial growth....
