UP RERA approves 15 projects worth Rs 2,434 cr
LUCKNOW, Nov. 4 -- The UP Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) on Friday approved 15 new real estate projects across eight districts with a total investment of Rs 2,434 crore. The decision was taken at the 187th meeting of the authority in Lucknow.
The projects will include 3,043 flats, 98 plots, and 50 shops. "The approved projects reflect balanced and widespread growth of Uttar Pradesh's real estate sector," said Sanjay Bhoosreddy, chairperson of UP RERA.
He added that the investment will boost the construction industry, create jobs, and strengthen the state economy.
According to UP RERA, three projects each were approved in Lucknow and Shahjahanpur, two each in Mathura, Moradabad, and Ghaziabad, and one each in Hapur, Noida, and Jhansi. Most projects are residential, while commercial projects were approved in Moradabad, Ghaziabad, and Hapur.
Shahjahanpur recorded the highest number of approvals with three projects, marking it as an emerging real estate hub Moradabad, famous for its brass industry, will see one residential and one commercial project, introducing modern apartments, shopping complexes, and office spaces....
