UP polls 2027: BJP moves to strengthen booth-level structure
LUCKNOW, May 3 -- With the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections approaching next year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started an organisational drive to strengthen its booth-level network across the state, directing leaders and workers to complete pending booth committees and intensify ground-level monitoring. Dharampal Singh, BJP state general secretary (organisation), has directed party leaders to launch a statewide booth-level campaign to make the organisation stronger and more effective. He said the party's real strength lies at the booth level and asked every karyakarta (party member) to keep booths as the focal point of their work.
Singh was addressing a meeting of district presidents, district in-charges, and pravasis from all 254 mandals across 17 districts of the Kanpur-Bundelkhand region in Kanpur on Saturday.
During the meeting, Singh instructed all 'mandal pravasis' to visit every booth in their assigned areas and physically verify booth committees. He said booths where committee formation remains incomplete should be prioritised and completed at the earliest....
