Lucknow, July 6 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday launched India's first Facility-Based Lactation Management (FBLM) training module to strengthen breastfeeding support in hospitals. Inaugurated by Amit Kumar Ghosh during a state-level training of trainers programme, experts including professor Anita Singh developed the module. Representatives from 45 lactation management units will train healthcare workers across the state.
