LUCKNOW, Dec. 17 -- The winter session of the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha commencing on December 19 will have four sittings. The state government will present its first supplementary budget for 2025-2026 therein on December 22. Besides presenting the supplementary budget, the state government proposes to carry out legislative business and will table eight ordinances that have been promulgated after the Monsoon session. The state government will also table bills to replace these ordinances. According to the tentative programme of the state legislative assembly issued by principal secretary, Vidhan Sabha, Pradeep Kumar Dubey, the state legislative assembly would be adjourned for the day after condoling the death of Samajwadi Party MLA from Ghosi Sudhakar Singh.
