UP boosts child monitoring in council schools
Lucknow, Sept. 13 -- The UP government has allocated a budget of Rs.6.55 crore for the effective operation and use of the Management Information System (MIS) under UDISE+ (Unified District Information System for Education Plus) and child tracking system for the year 2026-27.
UDISE+ functions as a central platform that enables respective schools to efficiently record and submit data related to its profile (infrastructure & facilities), individual students and teachers' details.
Through this system, the state government hopes to strengthen the use of digital systems to make school data more organised, monitoring children's educational progress more effective, and school management more accountable.
