PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 18 -- Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) declared the results of the 2026 high school compartment/improvement and intermediate compartment examinations on Monday. The results can be viewed on the Board's official website, upmsp.edu.in, from 11:30 am, said Board secretary Bhagwati Singh. According to the examination analysis shared by Singh, a total of 20,855 candidates-15,705 boys and 5,150 girls-had registered for the high school compartment/improvement exam. Of them, 19,394 candidates (14,616 boys and 4,778 girls) appeared for the exam. A total of 19,191 candidates-14,456 boys and 4,735 girls-were declared successful. The overall pass percentage stood at 98.95%. The pass percentage among boys was 98.91%, while girls recorded a slightly higher pass percentage of 99.10%. For the intermediate compartment exam, 21,227 candidates, including 11,256 boys and 9,971 girls, had registered. As many as 20,540 candidates-10,839 boys and 9,701 girls-appeared for the exam. Of those who appeared, 16,286 candidates (8,388 boys and 7,898 girls) were declared successful. The overall pass percentage for the intermediate compartment examination was 79.29%. htc...
