LUCKNOW, Sept. 3 -- Unseeded Kinjalk Srivastava caused the biggest major upset in the AITA Championship Series here on Tuesday, upsetting second seeded Rohit Raj 9-2 in the Under-16 boys first round match of the main draw, at the Vijayant Khand Stadium here. Dominating the proceedings from the very start, Srivastava didn't allow Raj to stage a comeback after taking a solid 4-1 lead. Two other unseeded players too caused upsets on Tuesday. Haris Khan outplayed eighth seeded Rishant Jaiswal 9-6, whereas Aariz defeated seventh seeded Aarav Bhaskar 9-4. Shikhoabad's Prateek Choudhary writes history by defeating Ayush Mittal from Lucknow 6-2 in the final of the Raja Ram Kumar Bhargava Memorial UP State 6 Red Snooker Championship at Prayagraj on Tuesday. Prateek stunned everybody with his game. The way he took on all the veteran players with a stride throughout the tournament was commendable. The final match started with the former champion Ayush Mittal displaying his excellence. In the first frame he made a perfect clearance and scored a break of 67 and did not give Prateek a chance to even score a single point. But in the very next frame the miracle boy Prateek got back in the game and with his precised cueing won the frame and levelled the score(1-1). In the third frame, he initially missed a few easy pots but after Ayush left the last red open for him there was no stopping. He slowly moved on to clear the table and scored 40 as against Ayush's 05. In the fourth frame Ayush started brilliantly by potting three reds with three blacks and scored 24 points but his break soon came to an end when he missed an easy red and gave Prateek a chance to come back to the table and he scored 20 points....
