Lucknow, May 12 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday lashed out at Samajwadi Party MP Ajendra Singh Lodhi for his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the CM's office said in a statement. The unparliamentary remarks made by an MP against the world's most popular public leader-Prime Minister Narendra Modi-are not only indecorous and inexcusable but also constitute a grave assault on Indian democratic norms, Adityanath also wrote on X. This act by the SP MP reveals a lack of political propriety, ideological bankruptcy, and profound disrespect for the decency expected in public life, he added. The chief minister further characterised the Samajwadi Party MP's remarks as an insult to the mandate and trust of 145 crore fellow citizens, as well as to India's democratic dignity.
