KANPUR, Aug. 19 -- A section of the Ganga Expressway damaged after heavy rain in Unnao on Monday has been repaired, with the road operator saying there were no issues at the affected stretch on Tuesday. Adani road transport, which maintains the expressway, said teams were sent to km 421 in Dahi, Unnao, after the damage was reported. Project manager RK Mishra said repairs were completed without affecting traffic and the expressway remained open throughout. "We are keeping a close watch on stretches that could be affected by rain," Mishra said. The 594-km Ganga Expressway connects Meerut with Prayagraj and passes through 12 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
