LUCKNOW, July 12 -- A technical fault in the dedicated ultrasound machine for pregnant women at Lok Bandhu Raj Narayan (LBRN) Hospital in Ashiana has disrupted antenatal ultrasound services for the past two days, forcing expectant mothers to either accept fresh appointments or turn to private diagnostic centres. The malfunction has hit ultrasound screening for around 50 to 60 pregnant women daily. Director Dr Rajesh Kumar said the maintenance agency had been informed and the machine would be repaired soon.
