LUCKNOW, April 20 -- Two minor boys drowned in a village pond in the Manpur police station area of Sitapur district on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Arpit Kumar (13), son of Shivkumar and a resident of Bhanvapur, and his cousin Kapil (12), son of Surendra Yadav. Arpit had been staying at his maternal uncle's home in Ramaipur. According to police, the incident occurred around 2 pm when both went to bathe in the Kharela Basi pond near village Banni Kharela.
