GORAKHPUR, April 4 -- Two labourers were killed and three others injured during basement excavation work on Tehsil Road, under the Kotwali police station area in Deoria district on Friday. The accident occurred when a wall next to the construction site suddenly collapsed during excavation. Over a dozen labourers were reportedly trapped under the debris. Local residents, along with municipal staff and police, rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
