LUCKNOW, Sept. 9 -- The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) arrested two absconding accused, carrying a Rs.50,000 reward each, in connection with multiple cheating and financial fraud cases registered in Budaun and Bareilly. The accused, Shashikant Maurya, 58, and Suryakant Maurya, 50, were arrested by an STF team from Manas Nagar in the Krishna Nagar police station area of Lucknow on Tuesday. Additional SP, STF, Raj Kumar Mishra, said several cases have been registered against the brothers in Budaun and Bareilly in connection with alleged financial fraud, cheating, breach of trust and related offences.
