Two arrested in property dealer murder case
PRAYAGRAJ, April 11 -- Police have arrested two accused in connection with shooting of property dealer Mohammad Irfan and sent them to jail on Friday. A motorcycle allegedly used in the crime has also been recovered.
Meanwhile, the named prime accused-Asif Durrani, his brother Rashid Durrani, and the hired shooters-remain at large even on the third day after the incident. Five police teams have been formed to conduct a manhunt across Prayagraj and in neighboring districts including Pratapgarh and Kaushambi.
The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Hussain alias Plumber, a resident of Ainuddinpur, and Mohammad Wasim alias Kabutar of Kareli. They were apprehended near the Railway Bridge at Bakshi Modh. During interrogation, both reportedly confessed to being associates of Asif Durrani and his brother Rashid, who allegedly had a long-standing land dispute with the deceased.htc...
