LUCKNOW, July 25 -- Traffic movement in parts of Old Lucknow will remain restricted on Saturday and Sunday as police enforce diversions for religious events, including the '72 Taboot procession' at Bara Imambara and traditional 'Aag Ka Matam' in Chowk area. In a press release, the Lucknow traffic police said diversions will come into effect from 3 pm and remain in force till the conclusion of the events. The '72 Taboot procession' is scheduled to begin at 5 pm inside the Bara Imambara premises, while the 'Aag Ka Matam' ritual will be held near Dariawali Masjid from 8 pm. Motorists travelling through the Chowk, Bara Imambara, Rumi Gate, Pakka Pul and Khadra areas have been advised to avoid the route during the restrictions. As per the traffic advisory, vehicles from Daliganj and Shahmina will be diverted via Medical College and Chowk instead of heading towards Bara Imambara and Rumi Gate. Traffic approaching from Rumi Gate will be rerouted through Kudiyaghat and Naya Pakka Pul, while vehicles from Khadra will be diverted before Pakka Pul. Roadways and city buses coming from the Daliganj railway crossing will not be allowed towards Khadra and Pakka Pul and will instead pass through IT Crossing. Heavy vehicles approaching Ghantaghar from the Koneshwar Mahadev Temple side will also be diverted through Chowk....
