PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 11 -- A technical fault in a track maintenance machine near Bhadri railway station in Kunda, Pratapgarh, led to the halt of three trains, including the Vande Bharat Express traveling from Prayagraj to Gorakhpur, for over one and a half hours on Sunday evening, causing inconvenience to passengers. According to railway officials, track replacement work is currently underway between Kunda Harnamganj and Manikpur on the Prayagraj-Lucknow railway route. As a result, the Unchahar-Delhi Express, heading from Prayagraj to Delhi, was halted at Bhadri station. The Vande Bharat Express, following behind on the same route, was also stopped near Bhadri around 4:00 pm. The Prayagraj-Lucknow Intercity Express was halted at Lal Gopalganj railway station. The disruption lasted for over 90 minutes. Once the issue was resolved and the track cleared, the Vande Bharat Express was allowed to proceed toward Raebareli, departing Bhadri at 5:34 PM. Mohammad Ajmal, station master at Bhadri, confirmed that the machine responsible for track replacement between Kunda and Manikpur had suffered a technical failure, which impacted the timely movement of several trains. He added that train services have since been restored and are now operating normally....
