CHENNAI, Sept. 28 -- The Central Crime Branch of the Tamil Nadu police on Sunday searched four premises in Kallakurichi district of a key accused in connection with an alleged financial fraud scheme linked to former Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. Three people -B T Arasakumar, Suresh and Raja - have been arrested. According to the police, Muthukumar's relative, Saravanan, was involved in the Rs.100-crore fraud by assisting with monetary transactions through a Chennai firm that falsely promised government clearances to private schools. htc....
