Jhansi, May 26 -- Three minor boys drowned after slipping into a deep pond while bathing in Hamirpur district on Monday morning. The incident took place in Khandeh village under Maudaha Kotwali area near a pond behind the Ram Janki temple. The deceased were identified as 11-year-old Prabal Kumar Yadav, eight-year-old Aditya Kushwaha and 10-year-old Bhola Kushwaha. According to villagers, the boys had gone to the pond around 10.30 am along with another child to get relief from the intense heat. None of them reportedly knew how to swim. While bathing, the boys accidentally moved towards the deeper side of the pond and began drowning. Villagers rushed to the spot and started a rescue operation....
