AGRA, Aug. 17 -- Three people were killed and four others, including a three-year-old child, were injured after a car carrying seven passengers fell into a roadside ditch in Hathras early Sunday, police said. The accident took place around 2.50am on the road connecting Etah with Sikandrarau. The car was travelling from Noida to Hardoi when, apparently, the driver fell asleep, said Hathras SP Chiranjeev Nath Sinha. All seven passengers were rescued from the damaged car and taken to a community health centre in Sikandrarau. The injured were later referred to the district hospital in Hathras and were reported to be out of danger. The deceased were identified as driver Ramji, 26, and passengers Avdesh, 62, and Jagatpal, 50. The injured were Rajiv Kumar, 33, Goldi, 30, their three-year-old son Naksh and Maya, 35.
