Ajmer, July 17 -- The death of thousands of fish in Ajmer's historic Ana Sagar Lake has continued for the past fortnight with municipal corporation workers removing truckloads of dead fish daily and disposing them at the trenching ground. Dr. Subrato Dutta, head of the department of environmental science at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, said the increasing inflow of contaminated water has significantly reduced oxygen levels in the lake.
