Those spreading misleading info regarding exams to face action: UPESSC chairman
LUCKNOW, July 15 -- Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, Prayagraj, has taken a stern view of the misleading information circulating regarding PGT, TET, and other examinations and has cautioned candidates accordingly.
"It has come to the Commission's notice that certain individuals are misleading candidates and inciting them to visit the Commission's office to submit applications regarding OMR sheets, answer keys, cut-off marks, and individual scores for PGT, TET, and other exams," said Prashant Kumar, chairman of the commission in a statement.
"Furthermore, unverified information regarding the creation of fake documents using AI and financial transactions is being circulated," he said.
Kumar clarified that the PGT exam results have already been declared. The scores of all candidates, as well as the written exam and interview marks and final scores of selected candidates, have already been displayed on Commission's website.
He appealed to candidates not to believe such misleading and baseless information. He advised them to consider only the advertisements and notices published on the Commission's official website as authentic.
He warned that strict legal action, in accordance with the rules, would be taken against those who circulate false and misleading information, mislead candidates, or attempt to extort money illegally.
