Lucknow, June 2 -- Through a theatre-based cultural outreach initiative, the state government has decided to take the stories of India's freedom fighters, literary icons and historical heroes directly to young audiences. This year-long programme is expected to reach up to 10 lakh students and youth. Spearheaded by the Bhartendu Natya Academy, the campaign will stage productions across schools, universities, museums and heritage sites in all 75 districts.
