Agra, Sept. 10 -- A teenage girl was attacked and injured in broad daylight on Wednesday when a man, known to the victim, attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon on the road, within the limits of the Sikandra police station of Agra. The girl suffered injuries on the neck and was hospitalised and was reported to be out of danger, according to the police. "The incident took place at about 10.45 am on Wednesday when a teenaged girl was attacked on the neck with a sharp-edged weapon by a man living in the same locality where the girl lives and was known to the victim," said the deputy superintendent of police (city), Syed Ali Abbas.
