Lucknow, Oct. 26 -- Reserved category candidates for the 69,000 teacher recruitment drive in the state gheraoed the residence of education minister Sandeep Singh on Saturday. The aggrieved candidates stated that a case regarding the recruitment drive had been underway in the Supreme Court for the past few years, with 23 dates already set, but the government advocate was yet to appear. The candidates demanded that the government advocate must appear in the Supreme Court on the next date, October 28, to properly represent their case.
