Tawde: '27 polls to boost Viksit Bharat resolve

Addressing the party's state working committee meeting, he recalled former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee's dictum that Delhi's road goes via Lucknow, stressing that a historic win with a big margin in UP is essential.
Targeting the Samajwadi Party, he invoked writer Harishankar Parsai's famous work 'Bhed aur Bhediye' (Sheep and Wolves). "SP is trying to reach people with new looks and promises, but its real character is the same that people of UP saw before 2017," he said.
He called upon workers to present before people the contrast between the SP reg- ime and the Yogi Adityanath government's work on law and order, development and welfare.
"In 2017, BJP alone won 312 seats. Today, on the basis of achievements of Centre and state governments, there is an opportunity to repeat that historic victory," Tawde said. htc...
