Prayagraj, June 28 -- An SUV crashed into three parked cars in the Mundera area under Dhumanganj police station on Friday night. No one was injured, but all three vehicles were badly damaged. According to local residents, the SUV was travelling at high speed when the driver lost control and rammed into the parked cars. The loud impact drew residents to the spot. Eyewitnesses alleged that the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. They said he fled with the vehicle before anyone could stop him. Residents said the incident could have turned into a major tragedy if pedestrians had been near the parked vehicles. Police reached the spot and inspected the damaged cars. They have started an investigation and are examining CCTV footage from the area to identify the vehicle and its driver.
