PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 26 -- Around 50,000 students across 31 educational institutions sang the complete Vande Mataram at 11am on Friday to mark 150 years of the national song. The programme was organised by Vidya Bharati under its 'Namami Bharatam' initiative. The main event shifted from Annie Besant Vidya Mandir, Chhota Baghada, to Jawala Devi Inter College, Civil Lines, due to rain. Vidya Bharati national joint organisational secretary Yatindra was chief guest, while ADM (civil supply) Vijay Kumar Sharma presided. Yatindra said Vande Mataram was a matter of pride. RSS state publicity chief Murarji Tripathi spoke at Jawala Devi Girls' School. Principals and staff at several institutions, including Rakesh Kumar Singh, Yogendra Singh, Santosh Shukla, Pawan Kumar Tiwari and Ranvijay Singh, led the programmes....
