Bahraich, Aug. 20 -- A 13-year-old schoolboy was killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle while cycling to school in the Hardi police station area here Wednesday morning. The accident occurred near Raji crossing on the road close to Singinha. The driver fled the spot along with the vehicle after the collision. Thedeceased has been identified as Manjeet (13), son of Ramesh, a resident of Tepra village. He was a Class 4 student at Shreya Educational Academy in Mahsi. According to family members, Manjeet was cycling to school along with his classmate Abhishek when the accident happened. He was rushed to CHC Mahsi, where doctors declared him dead.
